from west hollywood, silverlake and ventura, in southern

barry) and TINATRON,
(aka christian satrustegui),
and others for a week of high art antics
at this year's
BURNING MAN. held annually around labour day in the
black rock desert
in north-western nevada, this event climaxes with saturday
night's ritual burning of THE MAN,
a 50 foot tall stick figure.
an entire city of campsites, raves, ateliers, saloons
and salons, is built and then completely removed, LEAVING
NO TRACE!

event, so what i have here is just a bit of what i and my
friends did to contribute, along with a few images of things
i found particularly inspiring. TIME FLIES
is my attempt to illustrate the theme concept, utilising
elements from my own personal mythology: from father tiresias
all the way through dragon debris and beyond.
i
learned a lot this year, and hopefully this shows that.
